Music Department
Music is an integral part of our worship service and through the ministry of music hearts are prepared to receive the preached Word of God.
As ministers of music, we strive to:

The Southside Music Department is comprised of Youth and Young Adult Choir, Adult/Mass Choir, Praise Team, Male Chorus and Musicians.
WIN Ministry
(women-in-ministry now)
Lead by the First Lady of Southside COGIC, Evangelist Cynthia Robinson, Women-In-Ministry Now (W.I.N.) is a women’s ministry which encourages women to excel in every aspect of their lives: body, mind and soul. Their motto is “No Woman Left Behind.”
The WIN Ministry presents an exciting and interesting worship service every 1st Sunday evening starting at 6:00 pm. Be sure to join us each 1st Sunday night for this special time of praise, worship and edification of God's Word. There's always something special from the WIN Ministry.
Health & Wellness
Our Jurisdiction is blessed to have its own "Health & Wellness Coach," to motivate and offer education on the epidemic rise of diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and obesity.
It is my pleasure to appoint Elder Readus Smith as the Commissioner of Health Education for the Florida Central Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.
His Healthy Living Initiatives offers special programs for our seniors and will help everyone get on track to a new healthier lifestyle.
We look forward to the healthy educational experience and the benefits of these programs in the upcoming new year.
Sunday School
Sunday School classes are available to pre-school aged children through high school seniors as well as adult members. Sunday School begins at 9:30 am every Sunday morning. The Church Of God In Christ curriculum provides structure and continuity in the Christian education and faith journeys of all who participate. Our curriculum is centered on our relationship with God and His people. All lessons emphasize God's grace, love, and forgiveness as free gifts to mankind and our loving responses to those great gifts. The ultimate focus is loving God, loving others as God loves us, and being good stewards of God's great creation.
Classes are taught by well-trained, capable and committed members of our church including ministers, elders, missionaries, deacons and lay members.
Youth Department
The Southside Youth Department consists of youth between the ages of 12 through 18. The mission of the Youth Department is to provide spiritual, physical and educational training and guidance to the adolscents and young adults of our church. The following activities are offered to the youth of Southside:

Southside Men's Fellowship
The Men's Fellowship Ministry of Southside COGIC provides opportunities for spiritual growth and development of Godly character. A Godly man is a servant, not a slavemaster. Being a spiritual leader does not mean dominating your family. It means serving your family, and being a Godly example to your wife and children. Bishop Edward Robinson, Sr. understands and teaches the value of being a living example of a Godly man and a provider. He passes these values to the Southside men to care for their families God has entrusted into their care.
