Evangelist Cynthia Robinson
Evangelist, First Lady, Educator, Interior Decorator, Consultant, Church Executive, Administrator, Counselor, Lady Cynthia Robinson is a native of Jacksonville, FL. She is the wife of Bishop Edward Robinson Sr., and first lady of the Southside Church of God in Christ. Lady Cynthia accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a young age and has walked with Him since that time.
While maintaining her class and elegance, you can find Lady Cynthia working with almost every ministry in the church. She lends her service and is talented in many areas. Her love for children inspired her to establish an affordable, well-rounded curriculum for the families of the community. Hence, Lady Cynthia became the Director of the Little Saints Child Care Center on the Southside of Jacksonville. The needs of the parents and children were enhanced even more because of her Parenting classes and Family Enrichment workshops.
Lady Cynthia launched the Women-In-Ministry Now (W.I.N.) at Southside COGIC. This is a women’s ministry which encourages women to excel in every aspect of their lives: body, mind and soul. Their motto is “No Woman Left Behind." She also founded Young Ladies of Excellence Christian Ministry (YAWIM), which builds self esteem and teaches etiquette to girls, ages 6-18. This ministry provides spiritual guidance, mentoring and instructions from the Word of God. Lady Cynthia has touched the lives of numerous young women on the Southside of Jacksonville and surrounding areas. She has also formed a nationwide Prayer line that offers prayer to hundreds of households weekly. She is the Marshal for the Florida Central Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Women’s Department, where her husband serves as Jurisdictional Prelate.
While obligations to the ministry are important, Lady Cynthia ensures that her other covenant relationships are well maintained. She joyfully serves as her husband’s helpmeet and a devoted mother to their two children, Tabitha and Edward II.
She is a gifted teacher with a simplistic approach to the Gospel, which encourages women to develop a more intimate relationship with Christ. She allows the Lord to use her in teaching the Word of God and leading God’s people in worship.
She is an anointed woman of God whom He uses to expound and minister the Gospel in a very powerful and convincing manner. Lady Cynthia leads by example and is a blessing to her own church and to other congregations throughout Florida, as well as other parts of the country.
Lady Cynthia Robinson has a great love for people and her goal is to edify the body of Christ by winning souls and encouraging them to commit themselves to the GOSPEL. She has a passion for leading the women of God and is compelled to vigorously worship Him in spirit and in truth.
